Hailing from Australia, Sammy Courtright is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Ten Spot.
After finding it frustrating to stay healthy in a typical 9-to-5 environment, Sammy and her co-founder, Jonathan Cohn, teamed up in 2020 to deliver wellness where employees needed it the most — at work. Ten Spot now offers a centralized solution for companies to increase their productivity, boost retention and build a strong culture.
With a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Miami, Sammy is a certified Pilates instructor who brings a blend of grit and imagination to the zillions of tasks that confront every startup. While she wears many hats, Sammy’s passion for building culture has created an atmosphere at Ten Spot dedicated to positive thinking and collaboration.
As Ten Spot’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Cohn oversees the company’s overall vision, strategy, operations, and resources and acts as the main point of communication with the board of directors.
Before Ten Spot, Jon was the founder of the L.A.-based startup, NeveRest, an at-home provider of wellness services, including personal training, meal preparation, and rehabilitation therapy. A former investment banker, he’s held roles at companies including Houlihan Lokey and Lincoln International in New York, NY.
Jon holds a B.A. in Economics from Emory University and is a former collegiate athlete. In this world, there are pizza lovers, and then there are the pizza lovers. Outside of Ten Spot, Jon makes time to sample the finest pizza New York City offers.
